4-Legged Flix is a successful and growing video production company based in Monterey, California. They aim to provide quality, affordable footage at dog competitions around the country. The dogs at each ring are simultaneously filmed and the videos stored on a central drive at the booth to be purchased. The 4-Legged Flix Kiosk System was a perfect way to streamline their current business model.
Customers wanted to preview and purchase the dog show runs immediately. It was not uncommon during large shows to have lines 30 - 40 people deep. The staff at 4-Legged Flix had to suddenly handle a huge influx of customers. They needed a way to cater to such a large group with limited staff at the booth.
By creating a Kiosk System, multiple customers could simultaneously help themselves to search, preview, order, and download their dog show videos. The computer connected to the central drive became the server the Kiosk computers would access. This simplified the process of 4-Legged Flix and freed them up to assist customers with more specialized needs.
