J.K. Rowlings has been on an anti-transgender tear for quite some time. She is one of a small handful of celebrities trying to convince people that words like “cis” or “cisgender” are either incorrect language, or slurs/hate speech. One of her recent statements is that “‘cis’ is idealogical language, signifying belief in the unfalsifiable concept of gender identity.
