Julian’s professional background spans roles in crisis and addiction counselling, psychological assessment, general counselling and individual psychotherapy. He has significant experience working with both adolescents and adults. Since early 2020, Julian has been using these skills to help people with psychosocial disability work toward their NDIS goals.
As well as his practical experience, Julian is a published author in the field of trauma. Specifically, he wrote a paper in posttraumatic growth . Through this work he learned the power of reflective thinking to not only overcome but grow through the process of recovering from trauma. This is true for both trauma survivors and their helpers who may grow vicariously through their support.
