Our program is based in San Ignacio, the diverse capital of Belize’s Cayo District, located 2 hours from Belize City. The town is made up of mix of creole, Maya and mestizo populations, ensuring a rich cultural exchange between volunteers and locals. Your placement program will include a homestay with a local family in downtown San Ignacio, giving you a unique insight into everyday life in Belize.
