Our platform brings together national associations of independent media publishers in Europe. We represent dynamic, innovative and regional outlets that rely on online channels to grow and reach audiences. We started working together when the European Commission launched its copyright reform, in order to influence it in a way that supports this underrepresented group. EIMP partners with and is sponsored by Google.
As independent, innovative, forward looking publishers, we seek to maintain an open and competitive regulatory environment that supports our businesses. We facilitate dialogue with European institutions to ensure a level playing field for our members, lower barriers to market entry, and diversity and pluralism in the media industry.
We are collecting support from publishers and other groups that share our views and want to take action – not only in Brussels, but in Member States too.
