Tourists can travel to Mbala by car or coach / bus. The local airport is currently closed but it is hoped that commercial flights should soon.
Mbala has many local lodges in town, near the airport and near the natural attractions. Campsites are available too for backpackers locally.
Mbala has an amazing history which tourists can learn about at the local museum. There are other places of interest to visit in and around town.
