In 1978, we named our flute Mateki or ‘The Magic Flute’ to emulate Tamino’s magic flute. We strive to make our instruments respond uniquely to your own artistry. Mateki produces a plethora of models distinguishable by various materials and designs. Each individual material produces its own characteristics timbre, which is influenced by the materials purity and the crafting process.
