I am a PhD candidate in Geography in the Department of Land, Air, and Water Resources at the University of California, Davis.
I study patterns and processes of agricultural intensification in complex working landscapes in West and East Africa, using open data and quantitative spatial analysis methods to investigate relationships between soil health and the constraints, opportunities, and practices of small-scale and subsistence farmers.
