Mareesa is a singer/songwriter based in Edinburgh. She graduated with a BMUS(hons) degree in 2007 specializing in Saxophone and Piano. She has been singing since childhood, and finally turned professional in 2008. Since then she has played over 1000 gigs in various line-ups.
Mareesa has always had a passion for writing and has spent the last few years developing her skills, finally arriving at the material she has today. Her taste in music is wide reaching from The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Motown, to current artists like First Aid Kit, Laura Marling, Diane Birch, The Pierces, and Lianne La Havas.
