Czech researcher Milan Řezáč and his colleagues have written a paper with Tyler Arboretum volunteer Steve Tessler on Atypus snetsingeri * . The Czech team discovered that our spider's DNA markers are an exact match with the east Asian species Atypus karschi - meaning our 'snetsingeri' is an introduced, naturalized species.
