magniX Powers First Flight of the World’s Largest Hydrogen Fuel Cell Airplane 02 March 2023 A DHC8-Q300, converted by Universal Hydrogen, successfully completed its first flight, becoming the world’s largest flight-tested hydrogen electric airplane. A magni650 electric propulsion unit, provided with electricity by a hydrogen fuel cell system, was used to replace one of the airplane's two conventional turboprop engines.
magniX Powers Eviation's All-Electric Alice Aircraft for Historic First Flight 27 September 2022 The Eviation Alice successfully completed its inaugural flight, marking a historic milestone in aviation — a world first for a "clean sheet design" all-electric commuter plane, built from the ground up around the electric propulsion system.
