The idea to build a playground where all kids can experience the magic of play together was inspired by a spirited little girl named Melaina Cunningham. The community of Cape Girardeau came together to help Melaina’s family build a playground that would be a magical kingdom for kids of all abilities.
An inclusive playground is thoughtfully built with kids of all abilities in mind, and goes beyond simply following ADA requirements. There’s something for every child to enjoy at Melaina’s Magical Playland.
