Our format for tryouts this season will be a little different than in years past. This season we will offer two teams for players to tryout, 9u (co-ed) & 8u (co-ed) teams. We will do this as an alternative to restricting teams exclusively by birth years. Players will be assigned to teams based more on their skill levels & not just a players age. We hope this will give all our players who do make our rosters to develop at the right pace. All players will not make teams we are limiting rosters to two teams.
This means for our 9u team any player that is a 2014 birth year or younger will be eligible to make that team. For our 8u team, only 2015 birth years and lower will be eligible to make the roster. No 2014's can play on our 8u team.
Players will be split into two random groups for tryouts and have two, 1hr 10min tryout sessions. From those sessions coaches will select both teams and let parents/players know if they've made a roster and if they did make it, which roster they've made.
