The Macomb County Prosecutor is the chief law enforcement officer for Macomb County. The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney represents the People of Macomb County in most State law criminal matters pending before all courts in Macomb County, as well as in the Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court.
In the Juvenile and Family Courts, the Assistant Prosecutors appear on Delinquency and Abuse and Neglect Petitions. They also seek to establish paternity and child support for minors.
