On the strength of its concert season, MAAA is one of the sixty plus music promoters in Scotland to receive sponsorship from Chamber Music Scotland (CMS) with funds from the Creative Scotland , and there is no doubt that this annual financial support helps to maintain the high quality and great variety of the music programmes on offer. We have a preference for using mainly Scottish performers but put on concerts with world class artists.

Mid Argyll is situated in the West of Scotland, and the town of Lochgilphead is 80 miles from Glasgow on the A83 trunk road which leads to Campbeltown. On this road, 2 miles beyond Lochgilphead lies Ardrishaig. Most MAAA concerts take place in the Ardrishaig Public Hall, which has a large car park right opposite.
