The Optimist Club of Lynchburg, VA, is a community service organization dedicated to "bringing out the best in children". We’ve been working with kids in the City of Lynchburg and the surrounding area since November 5, 1987. Optimist Clubs are members of Optimist International, a worldwide service organization dedicated to serving the youth in local communities.
The purpose of the Optimist Club of Lynchburg, VA, is to develop “Optimism” as a philosophy of life and to aid and encourage the youth of our community.
We are a group of people that care about kids. Our members include people from every aspect of our community: business, civil service, social, educational, cultural, retirees, and young professionals. The club is open to all adults.
