Description: In my Lymphoedema clinic, my passion is helping people recover, heal and take back control over managing their condition.
Having worked as a physiotherapist for the past 21 years in various areas such as hospital, community, paediatrics, disability, lymphoedema and palliative care in the past, I have found my niche in the area of oncology, palliative care and lymphoedema. I believe patients come to me because I focus not only on their physical problems, but also support them through the emotional issues that they may be experiencing.
I have an integrated approach to treatment, using my background experience gained as a nurse, teacher, councillor as well as a physiotherapist. My aim is to be able offer my patients a different experience with me on their road to recovery.
My passion is helping people recover and heal. I look at offering my patients an opportunity where they can come into a space that allows them to feel relaxed, understood and listened to. I use my specialist skills to help them on a physical and practical level, but more importantly to form a relationship with them where they feel they can learn to take back control over managing their condition.
