Description: The LWV of the Hamptons, Shelter Island and the North Fork (LWVH/SI/NF) is a grassroots, non-partisan, political organization. As a non-partisan organization, we neither support nor oppose any political party or candidate for elective office. As a political organization, we study and advocate on issues important to voters, we educate the public about the issues and the candidates running for public office, we hold candidate debates and we encourage citizens to fully take part in the political process.
