Dirty Laces are one of the most exciting young bands on the UK live music circuit right now. Hailing from Manchester, they fuse together a rollicking mix of psych and heavy rock with definite nods to the Stooges, the Doors, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath among others. I first came across Dirty Laces due to some airplay afforded them by the great Chris Hawkins from BBC 6Music about three years ago, who is clearly a fan: he has played each of their recent single releases too. Tim Burgess also invited them to play a festival that he curated. They are the band that have attracted the most attention from my friends, associates and the muso fans on the socials.
