Transforming sheets, bits and powders of glass and perhaps wires and foils of copper, silver or gold into an object of beauty and/or function is challenging, reflective and satisfying. Bend it, shape it...anyway you want it...add a lot of heat over a period of hours or even days and voila, a beautiful piece of art...maybe... .yet, t hat “ maybe” is for me, the beguiling nature of glass, a substance of almost perfect function, unlimited possibilities and beauty.
