Loreen Thomas is a Truckee, California, artist whose oil paintings reflect her love of the Sierra Nevada mountains surrounding her home. She creates paintings of the Truckee and Lake Tahoe area as well as the Lakes Basin region farther north and many places in between. The scenes that inspire her paintings are usually discovered while exploring the back roads and trails that wind through the mountains with which she has become so familiar.
