My mission is to use my skills as a technologist to build tools that empower individuals. The most direct way I believe I can achieve that at this time is to make it easier for people to take custody of their bitcoin and manage their private keys. Cryptographic protocols are powerful tools that provide asymmetic defense capabilities to normal people; widespread deployment of them will have a noticeable impact upon the world by changing the power dynamics between authorities and the rest of society.
