The Envirothon is an environmental competition for high school students in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. It is based on five subject areas: aquatics, forestry, soils, wildlife, and the current issue—which change annually. The winning team from each county will move on to participate in the NYS Envirothon ( held during the week of May 26th), and each member of the winning team from Nassau County and Suffolk County will receive a scholarship of $500!
