Two beautiful self catering boathouses located on the shores of Loch Awe, the longest freshwater loch in Scotland. Loch Awe runs south west from the A85 about 20 miles east of Oban and is one of the most beautiful and most photographed of the Scottish lochs, having the iconic ruin of Kilchurn Castle at its northern end. About a quarter of the way down its peaceful western shore and right on the water, are Achnacarron and Lochawe Boathouses.
