Commissioned by the Manship Artists Residency and Artists for the Great Marsh, this five-movement work for student singers at Rockport Middle & High School, of Rockport, MA, and Endicott College, with text by Gloucester poet Caroline Harvey , celebrates the human and natural history of the Great Marsh, located on the coast of northern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and its importance, while advocating for action to combat climate change.
