To help change the lives of homeless women over 55, we are urging Brisbane to come together to take on the Live Like Her Challenge this September 2023. By living in your car for one night you will help fund The Forgotten Women’s mission to provide fit–for–purpose housing for women over 55 years of age who are experiencing homelessness.
In greater Brisbane right now, more than 700 women over 55 years are doing it tough. Known as the hidden homeless, these women are either living in a car, couch surfing, living under the threat of violence and/or physically hiding.
