October will be with us sooner than we think, so we’re delighted to be able to share with you now a few of the many exciting events we’ve lined up for this year’s Little Missenden Festival. As always, the tenth-century church of St John the Baptist will be at the heart of the Festival, lending its own magical atmosphere to music of the very highest quality. The festival opens with a recital by one of the world’s leading concert pianists, Angela Hewitt . Known particularly for her glorious interpretations of Bach, Angela's repertoire is very much wider than that and for us she’s playing engaging sonatas by Mozart and Schumann.
