Description: The Literacy Action Center (LAC) provides basic literacy education for adults. This literacy education: enhances the individual's quality of life; is free, effective, and confidential; and is delivered by a combination of professional staff and volunteer tutors. We specialize in helping adults who are reading below a fifth grade level when they enter our program.
