The personal challenge I picked for 2023 is AskAppSec . I believe that joining and actively participating in at least one security community for a period of six months will increase my understanding of practical application security in everyday work situations. Sounded all nice and well to me, and yet I struggled, more than I expected. I'm acutely aware that it's already the middle of the year, and where am I? Well, it's not that I didn't move at all, yet I'm clearly not where I hoped to be. I need to acknowledge it and accept just as it is in order to move on from here.
