Description: The Lincoln Fire Company has been a successful organization since 1851 for many reasons. But we would not be able to do any of the work we do without our dedicated volunteers. That is right! We are 100% Volunteer! We are continually seeking new members who are willing to serve as either firefighters or fire police officers. The Lincoln Fire Company will provide you with all of the training and equipment required to perform your job.

“It shall be the mission of the Lincoln Fire Company No. 1 of Ephrata, PA to anticipate and provide safe, appropriate and professional response to fire, rescue, hazardous materials and environmental emergencies needed by our dynamic community. We shall be Volunteers , dedicated to minimizing loss from these emergencies through fire suppression, training, public education, investigation and innovative programs.”
We use these training sessions to go over various skills. It's important to make sure our members know how to use their skills, the equipment, and team work to accomplish various tasks. Additionally, our knowledge base includes firefighting, rescue, medical care, HAZMAT so that we can effectively serve our community. As with anything, practice makes perfect.
