Description: The Long Island Library Resources Council (LILRC) is one of New York’s nine Library Resources Systems. LILRC is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt not for profit organization. It is chartered by the New York State Board of Regents. The Council was incorporated in 1966 and received its absolute Long Islandcharter in June 1971 as the Reference and Research Library Resources Council (3Rs) for Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
