Description: Don spent most of his working life as an art director, designer and lecturer, but photography and the history of photography, offered opportunities for alternative forms of creative practice. His Outer Hebrides images, first begun when he was a teenager, document his sense of belonging to the place he calls ‘home’, the Isle of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
