This website aims to convey the idea of how a Standard Plenoptic Camera, e.g. the Lytro camera, enables refocusing as well as the extraction of multiview images. For that purpose, the Standard Plenoptic Ray Tracing Model will be introduced based on geometrical optics. This model allows for a quick computation of a refocused image, refocused object distance, depth of field just as the baseline and triangulation distance using extracted multiview images.
