Each edition brings to Locarno an average of 170,000 spectators, over 1,000 journalists, and 3,000 professionals.
Founded in 2008 by its President Rolando Benedick, the Leopard Club is an association that supports the Locarno Film Festival. The Club succeeded immediately in its mission of securing significant financial contributions, consolidating its role as a major backer for future development of the event. This year the Leopard Club’s support is in every way an investment in the Festival’s future, trusting that from 2021 the Piazza Grande can return to hosting an audience of 8,000 on those magical evenings.
