Hi, my name is Judith. I’m a freelance language teacher and translator for German and English. I was born in 1984 – five years before the fall of the Berlin Wall and on the east side of it. Maybe that’s why I have an irrepressible wanderlust and travel often. Still, Berlin was my home for most of my life, and probably always will be.
I have a Master's degree in American Studies, German Philology and Art History. My interest in literature and other fields of art such as photography, painting, film and music is reflected in my work as a teacher. Since 2014, I’ve been teaching German and English to students of different language levels, from absolute beginners to advanced learners (A1 to C2 level). My clients’ cultural, professional and personal backgrounds couldn’t be more diverse, so I’m trying to adjust my teaching methods to each stude
Language isn’t my only love, though. I also have an education in photography. Between 2015 and 2021 I attended numerous seminars at the Ostkreuz School of Photography in Berlin and was a participant of the school’s master class programme in 2020 / 2021. I’ve taken part in numerous exhibitions and am currently working on my first photobook project.
