Research Teaching Service Contact Featured ~ profguilmette ~ Leave a comment I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Elon University, where I specialize in feminist philosophy, continental philosophy, and ethics. From 2014 to 2019, I was an Assistant Professor at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). In 2014, I received my PhD in Philosophy from Emory University, with a Graduate Certificate in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS).
As I detail on my Research Page , my recent articles engage the late feminist theorist Teresa Brennan (1952-2003). Following my research in her archive (housed by the Pembroke Center at Brown University) I find that Brennan’s posthumous and unpublished writings on ‘the transmission of affect’ and our present ‘age of paranoia’ leave behind an unfinished project all the more vital and relevant today.
