For this story, it’s important to know that we have a small ‘garden’ area that is ringed by some bricks. Every day when we go outside, I tell my class to “Fix the bricks” – meaning to make sure they are in a semi-circular shape and not scattered about by bug-seeking children. (I was tired of fixing them myself. ‘Many hands make light work’ and all that….)
