The London & Southern Counties Budgerigar Society caters for all Budgerigar breeders living in London, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Essex, Middlesex, Hampshire inc I.O.W. and Jersey. If you are a new fancier or already breeding and exhibiting Budgerigars, you will find great benefit in joining the London & Southern Counties Budgerigar Area Society.
We are one of the largest of the ten Area Societies in the UK, which are affiliated to The Budgerigar Society .
The Society publishes regular newsletters to keep members informed about Society activities and our show patronage is awarded to many societies and shows each year, both within and outside the boundaries of our area. Each member will have the opportunity to win rosettes, spoons and diplomas. Linked to our patronage we have Breeder of the Year awards; the 'Chelfers' and 'Blue Riband' awards.
