Don’t you just love that New Year fresh start feeling? I’ve been waiting with eager anticipation to shake off last year and throw myself into health and fitness again.

I won’t bore you with details but here’s a quick introduction so you understand my new year motivation.

February 2019 saw me sustain a bad sporting injury, I tore my left calf muscle in two places, so I had to give up my beloved gym regime and karate lessons. Subsequently I’ve gained 10 kilos and this has had two effects; 1. My mental and physical health have slipped, and 2. my clothes don’t fit quiet as well as they used to (some not at all). You may recognise the vicious cycle I’ve entered.
