Description: The premier association for 24 ski clubs in the greater Los Angeles area, from Santa Barbara, the Inland Empire, just before Riverside, and then East and just South of Long Beach. The clubs include snow sports, water sports and social type clubs, so there is almost always something for everyone.
Spring Skiing, 2023 is here! It has been a banner year for skiing and ski clubs around the country, and in particular, California. The weather bomb (as the news described it) dumped so much snow on the Sierras. The LAC Ski Clubs have sold out their bus and drive up trips, and a few trips they could not even get there due to too much snow, and a small avalanche.
Check out the blog post on the Sierra Nevada Resort in Mammoth Lakes. It is undergoing a wonderful renovation and will be even better when finished. When I saw it in early April, there was snow almost to the top of the second story. Just Amazing!
After winter skiing, the clubs look to summer events - hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, or just summer socializing. There is a club in the Council for just about everyone. Go to the Clubs page and see if you find something you are looking for, and I know you will.
