KUNSTWERK KÖLN is situated in Cologne-Deutz right next to the trade fair centre (Köln Messe). It's Germany's largest studio building which is run by its own tenants. It's built in a typically industrial style, parts of the building are registered as German historical heritage.
More than 150 artists, artisans and musicians work in 80 studios, workshops and 11 rehearsal spaces. During the yearly events "Mülheimer Nacht" and “Museumsnacht Köln” (museums and artist's spaces all over town open their doors for one night) the public can visit all the studios in KUNSTWERK KÖLN.
Various exhibitions and events at the KUNSTWERK KÖLN (300m 2 exhibition hall and 300m 2 event space) make this location an unique cultural institution in Cologne.
