The last few years have been very difficult. My main supplier has not been able to source the yarns I offer on this site on a reliable or timely basis, so I am unable to offer any kind of guarantee that any of the items my customer’s purchase can be sourced. During this past year, I have had to refund more orders than I have been able to fill.
This is very disappointing for both me and my customers and the only remedy would be to purchase in bulk at the beginning of each new season. Traditional wool stores do it this way. As I am a micro retailer, I have always bought in yarn on a just-in-time basis – you order some wool – I buy it in for you. And quite frankly I don’t have the spare cash lying around (would need $ 0,000s) to make a large purchase once or twice a year to then have it sit around waiting to be sold (if it sells at all…).
