So what is the Kingsport Antique and Rod Club?
We are the oldest car club in Kingsport, TN. In 2009 we celebrated our 35th Anniversary. We are a non-profit organization. Our membership generally averages around 70 members. Club members' cars include antiques, street rods, 50's and 60's mild customs and classics. You do not have to actually own a car to be a member, although most are expecting to own or build a rod, custom, etc. We meet once a month, on the second Thursday, at Golden Corral Restaurant on Eastman Rd. Most members eat at around 6:30 p.m.,
Our major activities each year are our annual Benefit Cruise-In and Wilderness Trail Rod Run. The Cruise-In is held on Friday evening at the Kingsport Town Center at the corner of Fort Henry Drive and Memorial Blvd. in Kingsport , TN. It is followed on Saturday by The Wilderness Trail Rod Run, held on Main Street in Kingsport, TN at the Historic Train Station.
