I am a third-year Physics PhD student at MIT and IAIFI , advised by Prof. Max Tegmark . I research in the intersection of artificial intelligence and physics in general, including but not limited to: (1) AI for physics [a] Discovering physical equations/concepts from data with AI. [b] Improve data analysis in physics with AI. (2) Physics for AI [a] Developing "physics-like" theories to understand neural networks. [b] Building physics-inspired machine learning models, esp. generative models. (3) Mech
I love music and mobile photography in my leisure time, but also have great fun thinking about (somewhat philosophical) questions regarding the boundary (if any) between human & artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling of humanities and other nerdy stuff.
