We are small, quality preservation breeders of Portuguese Podengo Pequenos located in southeastern North Dakota. We only keep a select few dogs at a time to train, show, and trial. All of them live in our home and are first, and foremost, members of our family. We feel quality is much more important than quantity and, therefore, only breed a litter when we're ready for another puppy to show & continue our lines- usually no more than a couple times a year.
We strongly believe in an all-purpose Pequeno- one that remains correct to the truest intent of the breed's history & standard. For this reason, we strive to produce an all purpose Pequeno; one who is not only physically beautiful, but also has the wonderful temperament and versatility that makes the Pequeno the breed we all so love. Our goal is to produce Pequenos who can not only meet the breed standard, but are also be performance dogs (Lure Coursing, FAST Cat, Scent Work, Agility, etc), therapy dogs,
We actively compete in AKC sanctioned Conformation & Performance events, are current members of Portuguese Podengo Pequenos of America (AKC Parent Club) as well as have been long-time members of the Fargo-Moorhead Kennel Club.
