As a Signature member of American Women Artists, I’ve learned the disparaging museum holdings of women artist worldwide is only 3–5%. And many of those holdings are not on museum walls but in storage. American Women Artists is a non-profit organization dedicated to the inspiration, celebration, and encouragement of women in the visual arts. As a women business owner, mother, daughter, and entrepreneur, I’ve learned women’s capabilities match their diverse talents, determination, strength, resilience, and creative problem-solving energy. 40% of US businesses are women-owned. It’s time women artists have an equal holding in museums and galleries, among other underrepresented institutions worldwide.
Since 2017 when I launched my fine art business, I’ve been blessed to produce over 67 graphite pieces of artwork, not including the multiple TINY TAGGS. And by God’s blessing, we have sold 74% of them. My style is uncommon for landscapes, as I strive to do what others are not and invent new ways to create with my medium.
