Our Teachers
We believe in play based learning. Learning through play is where teachers offer positive encouragement and model good social interaction in a playful and intentional learning environment. Learning through play allows preschool children to mature emotionally as well as develop social, language, and cognitive skills. When children are having fun, exploring their environment, and engaged in their interests, that is when they are learning.
During choice time children can choose from dramatic play, language arts activities, table toys (such as puzzles), art projects (including easel painting), science projects, sensory table, fine motor activities, snack and our library. First and foremost, we want children to be children and encourage their natural desire to make-believe, create and wonder.
