Khachoe Ghakhyil Ling Nunnery is a Buddhist nunnery in the Tibetan Gelug tradition. It is located on the outskirts of Kathmandu, near the Boudhanath Stupa. The nunnery was founded by Lama Thubten Yeshe, who in 1979 invited two Tibetan nuns who had recently fled from Tibet across the border of Nepal, to join his monastery in Kathmandu.
