Kai Xu (徐凯) is a Professor at the School of Computer Science, National University of Defense Technology (NUDT). He is also an Adjunct Professor of Simon Fraser University. He earned his Ph.D in computer science in 2011 from NUDT. From 2008 to 2010, He worked as a visiting PhD in the GrUVi lab of Simon Fraser University, supervised by Richard (Hao) Zhang .
