Welcome to Kennet Opera!
Kennet Opera was founded in 1994 to bring grand opera and concert song to Newbury and the surrounding areas. Opera is at the heart of what we do, and we staged a major production , sung in English, every year between 1994 and 2019.
From 2020 to 2022 we were still able to present concerts, outdoors and then indoors too. In 2023, we gratefully returned to a staged opera production. Find out more !
